Years ago, our family began vacationing in the beautiful Cariboo region, drawn by the crystal-clear waters and peaceful surroundings of Green Lake. It did not take long for us to fall in love with the area.

Our Story
It all began as a pie and coffee shop in 1964 and evolved steadily over the decades. Locals and visitors alike formed memories of the area at Little Horse Lodge
In 1984 the rustic log cabins from J-Bar-T Ranch at 83 Mile Road, were carefully transported to the Lodge. Hand cut from area trees, and built in the 1920's, they were a great addition to Little Horse Lodge to further accommodate guests. These five cabins have been lovingly preserved and updated to house the most discerning guests, and showcase the local pioneering history of the area.
In 2020, Bernie and Leslie purchased the Lodge, that had not been running for awhile, and with some extensive clean up and renovations are making an effort to bring back some of the memorable times for locals and visitors to this beautiful area of the Cariboo and Green Lake.
Location
Off of 97 heading North, turn off at 70 Mile House on North Bonaparte Road. Heading East continue for about ten minutes and when you reach the sani-station turn left on North Green Lake Road. Follow this road for another ten minutes until you see the Lodge on your left.
Off of Hwy 24 turn on Watch Lake Road just East of Lone Butte. Stay on this road for 10 minutes and when you reach the intersection turn right. Stay right for another 5 minutes and you will be on North Green Lake Road. The Lodge will be on your right.
